BIOGRAPHY
Wayne started his career in 1996 after getting a gig through a friend at the SESSION ROOMS in Hastings, East Sussex.
From this he gained valuable experience and was rewarded with a weekly residency before moving to YE OLDE PUMP HOUSE in the Old Town, where he remained for 4 years, whilst here Wayne also played at SATURDAYS (Jon Digweed and Danny Howells 1st club) playing every Thursday along side guest DJ's such as Boy George, Nigel Benn and 187 Lockdown. He was also lucky enough to play every month at JR's Nightclub (which was the busiest club in the town at the time).
Wayne started to make a name for himself in and around the Hastings area and became a regular volunteer at the Conquest Hospital Radio channel 9 cheering people up on a Wednesday night which gave him studio and extra microphone experience.
In 2002 he was snapped up by the Entertainer fun pub in Bexhill on Sea and also Hastings Pier Ballroom where he took over the student nights playing all the latest tunes plus also playing popular Pier Pressure along with big named global DJ's such as Brandon Block, Slipmatt and Lisa Pin Up.
Over the next few years Wayne played at many different places including BAR DIVA, DIVA II, FRENCHS, HAVELOCK, YATES'S WINE LODGE, CROWN HOUSE, the GOLDEN CROSS, the WHITEFRIARS and the PLOUGH as well as alot of private functions along the way.
2003 saw Wayne wanting a change, so he crossed the water to Magaluf in Majorca where he played 7 days a week for three months at the PRINCE WILLIAM (Magaluf's first DJ Pub which opened in 1982 and was named when the future king of England), he also supplied the music for the famous Magaluf Strip club the UNDERGROUND.
After returning back to England Wayne got a residency straight away at BAR MODA Sports bar in Hastings town centre where he stayed until 2004 before signing up with Juliana's DJ Agency in Ealing, West London.
This got him the break he was after and was immediatley sent over to work in KUBU, the 5* Night spot at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dubai.
This club was totally different to anywhere else that he had worked before with it's arabic/tattoo themed bar, but it was a positive change from the hussel and bussle of Magaluf, having a more relaxed and sofisticated atmosphere.
After building up the club from scratch, Wayne gained a reputation as having a great style and not afraid to throw in afew classics at very short notice and was always willing to take requests.
He also had the privilage to play a set at the after party for Alica Keys following her massive sell out concert.
After staying there for 7 months he returned to BAR MODA before moving up to Bedfordshire where he targeted a new audience and played regular weekends at the SOVIET BAR, The PHEASANT pub and BLACKSMITH ARMS.
IN 2006 Wayne decided to target the party animals in Tenerife and got a job at the new BIKINEE G's, as well as the PLAYERS LOUNGE, EDWARDS (the old Wetherspoons), and the DJ CAFE.
After spending a year there, Wayne yet again returned to England but this time had time out from DJing and went to work as a Food & Beverage manager at ARSENAL FC, CHELSEA FC and WEMBLEY STADIUM in which he gained valuable experience on the hospitality side of events adding to his skills to make DJing events more personal.
2009 saw Wayne move on to the MP3 format, a long way from starting out with vinyl, then moving on to CD but as time moves on so does the technology.
With bookings coming in fast it's clear to see he hasn't lost his feel to entertain and read a crowd.
